Supported operating system registries
Virtual member manager does not support adapters for operating system registries.
However, the WAS User Registry interface does support operating system registries such as:
- RACF
- iSeries
- UNIX and Linux-based operating systems
- Windows NT
If a local operating system is configured as the WAS User Registry, virtual member manager cannot be used by the WAS for security functions. However, virtual member manager can still be used for access to virtual member manager supported registries by applications using the virtual member manager API.
