Securing SIP applications

You can apply digest authentication and Trust Association Interceptor (TAI) for a SIP application by applying Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) security to the application. Before you can apply security, first deploy an application that has been developed to support security (with the web.xml file configured for security) and roles. The following software must also be installed:

1. Install Tivoli Directory Server version 5.2

2. Set up and activate Lightweight Third Party Authentication. For more information, see theConfiguring the Lightweight Third Party Authentication mechanism topic.

Procedure

1. Click Detail Properties > Security role to user/group mapping.

2. Check All Authenticated.

3. Save all changes.

4. Restart the server.
