If the channel is inactive
Having issued the command
DIS CHSTATUS(QM1.TO.QM2) ALL, if the output shows no status, then the channel is inactive. Do the following:
- If the channel should have been automatically started by a trigger, check the following:
- Check that the messages on the transmission queue are committed. For more information, see Are the messages on the queue available?.
- If there are available messages on the transmission queue, check that the trigger settings on the transmission queue are correct. For details of how to set up triggering on a transmission queue to start a channel, see the WebSphere MQ Intercommunication manual.
- For now, the channel must be manually started. Issue the following command:
START CHANNEL(QM1.TO.QM2)
