Common Fields - Identification

This section is used to give this item a unique name, enter a brief description of the item and record Author and Owner information.

Name The name of your item. This should be unique. It is recommended that the following characters not be used in the Name field:
+ / \ ? [ ] < > & ' " %

You should also not have trailing spaces at the end of an item Name. Double-byte characters cannot be used in this field. Use any of these characters in the Display Title.Note: Non-ascii Characters

Non-ascii characters can not be used in the query string section of URLs. For this reason, it is best not to name Web Content Management items using Non-ascii characters if you plan to use URLs to call Web Content Management items.

Description Used to enter a brief description of your item.
Type Indicates the Web Content Management item type.
Authors Records who created the item. To edit the list of Authors, click Select Authors

  • To add an Author, click Add Select either Users or Groups Enter text to search for in the Search field. Then click Search (Leave the Search field blank to display all Users or Groups) Select the requiredUsers or Groups Then click OK

  • To remove items, first select the required items from the item list, then click Remove
Owners Records who has responsibility for the item.

  • To add an Owner, click Add Select either Users or Groups Enter text to search for in the Search field. Then click Search (Leave the Search field blank to display all Users or Groups) Select the requiredUsers or Groups Then click OK

  • To remove items, first select the required items from the item list, then click Remove
