Server configuration files

Application server configuration files define the available appservers, their configurations, and their contents.

You should periodically save changes to your administrative configuration. One can change the default locations of configuration files, as needed.

The master repository is comprised of .xml configuration files. which can be editted with the console, scripting, wsadmin, programming, or with a text editor.

If your console session times out, temporary configuration files are created. The location of these files is configurable.

Temporary configuration files are regularly backed up. One can change the backup-up location of temporary configuration and workspace files.
