Collecting metrics
Find out whether people are using the IBM Connections applications and which applications are most popular. You can collect metrics about the IBM Connections applications in the following ways:
- Access a list of standard metrics from a web site.
Note: Metrics information can only be viewed from the web by people listed in the metrics-reader role. By default, everyone is included in that role, but an administrator can change the role membership using the WAS Integrated Solutions Console.
- Use administrative commands to collect metrics. Use this method if you want to write the metrics information to a file.
For details on how to collect metrics, see the topics in the application-specific sections of the product documentation.
Importing statistics and metrics into a spreadsheet
You can output statistics and metrics data from IBM Connections applications to files in the comma-separated-value (CSV) format. You can then import this data into any spreadsheet program that supports the importing of CSV files. After you import the data, you can use available spreadsheet functions to analyze or graph the statistics and metrics.
