Downloading a file
Download the files that other people have shared with you to save them locally or view their content.
When someone shares a file with you in Files, you can use the Files Shared with Me widget to open the file directly or save it locally.To download a file...
- Click Download this file next to the file that you want to download.
- Do one of the following:
- In Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- To open the file, click Open.
- To save a local copy of the file, click Save and browse to the required location.
- In Mozilla Firefox:
- To open the file, click Open with, select the program with which you want to open the file, and click OK.
- To save the file, click Save File and click OK.
