Define a SIBus link on the News repository server
Overview
After creating the SIBus link on the feature server side, create a corresponding SIBus link on the News repository server. The link must have the same name on both sides.
Create a SIBus link on the News repository server
- Log in to the WAS admin console for the server hosting the News repository.
- Select...
Service Integration | Buses | Topology | Messaging Engines | messaging_engine | Additional Properties | Service integration bus links | New
- Enter a name for the link.
The name must be the same name entered when defining the SIBus link on the feature server.
- Select the name of the foreign bus representing the feature server from the Foreign bus name drop-down list. For example, Connections_ActivitiesServer_Bus.
- Enter the name of the messaging engine on the feature server that you recorded in the Preparing to create bus links topic.
- Enter
InboundSecureMessagingin the Target inbound transport chain field.
- In the Bootstrap endpoints field, specify the following values:
<hostname>:<SIB endpoint port>:BootstrapSecureMessaging
where <hostname> and <SIB endpoint port> are the values for the feature server that you recorded in the Preparing to create bus links topic. For example:
server.example.com:7288:BootstrapSecureMessaging
- Under Authentication Alias, select connectionsAdmin.
- Click OK.
- Save your changes to the master configuration.
