Manage widgets
Make additional functionality available to your users by adding and enabling widgets from the Home page user interface.
As the Home page administrator, you can make site-wide changes to the Home page feature directly from the Home page user interface. The Home page defines an administrator role, and users assigned this role have access to an additional Administration tab on their Home page, which is used for widget administration. Clicking the Administration tab displays a simple, form-based user interface, which allows administrative users to perform key widget management tasks.
From this location you can:
- Add new widgets for use on the Home page
- Test new widgets before they are deployed to the user base
- Enable and disable widgets
Changes made using the administration user interface occur in real time, and are immediately reflected in the Home page Updates page.

Extend the functionality of the Home page feature by adding widgets. To make the widgets available for use in the Home page, you need to add the widgets from the Administration tab in the Home page user interface and then enable them for use.
